Chelsea have managed to get their hands on some of the world's most exciting young players recently, but they're at risk of losing what they already have
The west Londoners signed Omari Hutchinson, Cesare Casadei, Zak Sturge, Carney Chukwuemeka and Gabriel Slonina last year, before securing the signatures of Mykhailo Mudryk, Andrey Santos and Malo Gusto in January. This summer, Chelsea have continued their spending spree, wrapping up deals for Dujuan Richards, Diego Moreira, Angelo Gabriel and Ishe Samuels-Smith.
It's believed that Chelsea are hoping Dylan Williams, Tino Anjorin, Harvey Vale, Bashir Humphreys, Alfie Gilchrist, Lucas Bergstrom, Jamie Cumming, Mason Burstow can further their development with a loan spell. The Evening Standard add that Leicester City are keen to take Cesare Casadei on loan and are in 'advanced talks' to sign Silko Thomas.
Meanwhile, Ben Elliott and Bryan Fiabema could leave permanently, with the latter said to be 'on the verge' of joining Real Sociedad. The report states that Tudor Mendel-Idowu will also depart Chelsea after he deemed the club's contract offer 'too low' and became a free agent.
"It depends on the situation of different players. We need at least one more and we are working on that. It depends on what happens in the next few weeks. We will decide and take our decision."
Then, when asked to confirm his transfer plan, Pochettino added: "That is the idea. We are working, the club is working on that. We need to add some player there. We need one more with experience."
