Sean Dyche is hoping Andre Gomes will remain an Everton player and doesn't expect the club to dip into the free agents market.
Gomes spent last season on loan at LOSC Lille and has one year left on his contract. As previously reported by the ECHO, the French side were keen to re-sign the 30-year-old this summer.
As well as a possible return to France, the Portugal international has also been the subject of speculation linking him with clubs in Saudi Arabia. In recent days, a move to Turkey has also been suggested.
The Turkish transfer window closes on Friday night, but despite the speculation, Dyche is hoping Gomes will remain a member of his squad.

Asked about Gomes moving to Turkey, Dyche replied: "It is unlikely. He has been unfortunate with injuries, not major injuries, and he is aware that I want him to get fit and I want him to be a part of what we are doing.
"I think he is a very good footballer and I think he has shown that down the years. I think it is unlikely, I think he will be here at the end of today, and I hope he is."
Pushed on whether his side will dip into the free agent market, Dyche revealed: "It is rare at this stage that you get one who have been missed for odd reasons.
"Usually by this stage the market has found situations for players, where they are at.
"But we will certainly keep an eye on the list of players and see if there is any one who can sort us, which we have already done, of course, but we will keep doing that."
