Guglielmo Vicario
Had very little to do but what he did, he did solidly. Couldn't do much about Joelinton's late goal. 7
Pedro Porro
Found Romero with an early corner which almost brought a goal. It was his crossfield ball which led to Spurs' second goal. He Defended well and hit a lovely raking ball into the path of Richarlison for the third goal which earned a hug from Postecoglou. Sent his own chipped effort on to the roof of the net soon after and had another shot saved after a nutmeg on the edge of the Newcastle box before hitting the through ball into Son's path that led to the penalty. 9
Cristian Romero
Had a header cleared off the line by Almiron from a Porro corner. Brings a real strength to the backline although a late challenge on Wilson in the final 10 minutes was reckless and could have resulted in a worse punishment. Loses a mark for that. 7
Ben Davies
Made a crucial last second sliding touch to stop Isak getting what would have been a certain early goal for the visitors. Played well alongside Romero. 8

Destiny Udogie
Tapped home his first goal from the club 26 minutes in and had another match full of energy down the left flank. 8
Dejan Kulusevski
Back in the deeper role and he revelled in it. Newcastle just couldn't get near the Swede as he popped up all around the pitch, spraying the ball around and dribbling past opponents at will. Set up numerous chances for his team-mates. 9
Yves Bissouma
A couple of loose passes but this was a much better day at the office for the midfielder. He looks better with Sarr alongside him. 7
