Two sisters are trying their best to ensure everyone gets a chance to go to the party, no matter what.
Sarah and Steph, 46, are twin sisters who set up a business aimed at making fashion affordable and accessible for all.
Located in a stall at The Greatie Market on Great Homer Street, their Community Interest Company called Jeans Sparkles creates affordable dresses for people in wheelchairs or who have a stoma or IV.

Sarah said: “The dresses were starting out at £500. That’s quite out of a lot of families’ reach at the moment. We started researching, and Stephanie started buying dresses. She’s got 100 dresses now.”

Steph and Sarah’s ‘Dresses With Dignity’ range are the dresses that are specially adapted for those who are in a wheelchair, or for those who wear stomas or catheters. Their primary goal is to ensure that people have independence for the entirety of the event they attend.
