Showmax is launching a brand-new app, and a ton of new content. Here are our favourite things about what’s coming up.
A new and improved app
Faster, slicker and better looking than ever before: the new Showmax app will bring all the content viewers love on a platform that’s the best ever.
Thanks to their partnership with Comcast, Showmax will be migrating to a new platform created by Peacock, one of the biggest names in streaming worldwide. Subscribers will be getting messages telling them how to upgrade to the new app. It’ll be an easy and seamless process. If you’re a subscriber and you need any help with getting the new app, go to Showmax’s FAQ pages.
The new Showmax app is giving plenty of entertainment, without taking all your data. If you’re watching on a mobile device, choose a data setting as low as 40MB/hour. That means a 2GB data bundle will get you a cool 50 hours of streaming.
