It's been a quiet 2024 for Arsenal so far. They've been in action just once — a maddening FA Cup defeat to Liverpool — and active in the transfer window even less.
17 days in to January and it doesn't appear as though the Gunners are any closer to making a signing. That's not to say that they couldn't do with the reinforcements though.
Arsenal are lacking in depth at the back and midfield, while at the top end of the pitch they are struggling to find the back of the net. In their last three games Mikel Arteta's side have had 61 shots, but scored just once.

Q: Will Arsenal sign anyone at all?
KK: Arsenal are open to the idea of an incoming deal. It has to be the right player for the right price though. Personally I'm not aware of anything being close right now. Two weeks is a long time in football though, so you can't rule anything out at this stage.

Q: Any interest in Reiss Nelson likely to be acted upon this window?
KK: Can't say I've heard too much on Nelson myself. That's just me though and not to discredit any reports. Personally it would be great to see him stay and build on his impressive display against Liverpool where I had him as one of the men of the match.
