Bukayo Saka was taken off at half-time against Sheffield United with Arsenal winning at 5-0. Although the Gunners were cruising after a near-flawless display at Bramall Lane and had the chance to rest players, there is an injury scare for Mikel Arteta.
The winger was seen shaking his head after taking a shot in the opening 45 minutes and spoke to the club physio as he headed down the tunnel at the break. He was replaced by Fabio Vieira.
The 22-year-old, who played a key role in Jayden Bogle's own goal which gave Arsenal an early 2-0 lead, appeared to grimace after taking a shot at the back end of the first half, but it's unclear if the substitution is injury related at this time.
Arteta is likely to provide an update on the England international in his post-match press conference. He handed Vieira a first Premier League appearance for nearly five months after he sustained a serious injury.
Luckily for Arteta and Saka, the result in Yorkshire was already in the bag after another stunning attacking display. Arsenal went in at halftime five goals to the good after destroying their relegation-bound opponents.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring before Saka crossed into Bogle for 2-0. Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Martinelli all got in on the act as well.
