Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has confirmed there are no new injury concerns ahead of Thursday evening's Premier League clash with West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners were without five players for Saturday's 1-1 draw at Liverpool with Fabio Vieira, Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jorginho and Jurrien Timber all absent. Against West Ham, Arteta will be without the same players.
Jorginho returned to the matchday squad on Merseyside, but Kai Havertz's fifth yellow card of the season means he will sit out of Thursday's clash. «No, nothing has changed,» Arteta said.
«We're not going to have those two (Partey and Tomiyasu), then we have the suspension of Kai, so I think we're gonna have five out, but we have lots of other players willing to play.»
Tomiyasu (calf) and Partey (thigh) are two players Arsenal fans will be hoping to welcome back to action soon. The pair are close to completing their recovery and Arteta was asked about the chances of them returning before the Asia Cup and African Cup of Nations.
«There is a chance,» he confirmed. «We'll have to see. They haven't trained yet. Hopefully they can evolve in the right way,»
