Bayern Munich will be without Serge Gnabry when they face Manchester United on Tuesday night. The two sides meet at Old Trafford in the final match of their Champions League group stage campaign.
United know they must defeat Bayern to stand any chance of reaching the knockout stages and their qualification hopes could be boosted by the absence of a key attacking player for the opposition.
The 28-year-old suffered a groin strain in his side's 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday and he is now set to spend the next few matches on the sidelines.

Gnabry came onto the pitch with his side already trailing 5-1 but only lasted five minutes before he was forced off with an injury.
A statement released by Bayern on Sunday read: "Serge Gnabry suffered a groin strain in Saturday's 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt, a scan revealed last night. Gnabry, who was forced off the field just five minutes after coming on in Frankfurt, will therefore miss Bayern's upcoming matches."
The former Arsenal forward has struggled for fitness all season, with his only goal of the campaign coming when Bayern defeated United 4-3 in their opening Champions League match.
Gnabry missed the opening match of the Bundesliga season with a hip problem and another five matches due to a forearm fracture. He also missed one match due to illness.
He has netted 82 goals and notched 51 assists in 229 appearances since he moved to Munich five years ago.
