Chelsea provide Armando Broja injury update as seven players ruled out of Brentford clash
Chelsea have confirmed that Armando Broja remains injured following a knee injury suffered ahead of the international break, that saw him miss the clash with Arsenal. The Albania international is now set to miss Saturday's match with Brentford along with six other players.
Broja continues treatment for irritation around his knee, after Nicolas Jackson was only deemed fit enough to feature from the bench against the Gunners last week. On that occasion, Pochettino opted to make use of Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher through the middle with Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling attacking from the wings.
On that occasion, Chelsea saw a number of players make their return from injury with Reece James entering the field as a second half substitute, while Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile were assessed to be fit enough to sit among the substitutes. They remain off Chelsea's injury release.
Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah remain out following their injury setbacks. Long term absentees in the shape of Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku also remain out.
