Diogo Jota's football ability is just as good off the pitch as on it, with the Portuguese forward fancying himself as the best EA FC 24 player in the Liverpool squad.
EA FC 24 is the first instalment in the EA Sports FC game series, EA Sports' first time going solo after its split with FIFA. A bigger focus has been put on esports in EA FC 24 than any past FIFA title, and ahead of the upcoming ePremier League finals, Jota went head to head with one of Liverpool's two ePremier League representatives, Dariosh, to put Liverpool's pro player to the test, and also remind everyone just how good he is at the game himself.
Jota is known in the EA FC 24 community as being one of the best players at the game, with the forward finishing a FUT Champions Weekend League in FIFA 21 as the number one ranked player in the world, winning 30 games from a possible 30. And, while testing his skills out against Dariosh, the Portuguese forward revealed the players from the current Liverpool squad who he thinks deserves an upgrade to their rating in EA FC 24.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Jota claimed all of the Liverpool players deserve an upgrade, and based on the season so far he's not wrong.
"All of them, all of them will be upgraded!" said the 27-year-old. "Conor Bradley will probably get one of the highest, Caoimh [Kelleher] deserves [an upgrade] as well but he's already higher than him. Quansah of course, but I'll go for the biggest upgrade being Bradley."
