Gabriel Martinelli has been seen wearing a protective boot and walking with the aid of crutches at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday after his injury against Sheffield United. The Brazilian was left out of the squad by Mikel Arteta for the win over Brentford.
The winger was replaced by Leandro Trossard in the starting XI as Kai Havertz won the game late on for the Gunners. Martinelli was on his way to the dressing room when spotted by football.london in the 'mixed zone'at the ground.
With Porto visiting on Tuesday night in the Champions League, he is now a major doubt for the game. Before the game Arsenal wrote on Twitter, «Gabriel Martinelli misses out on today's squad due to the foot issue sustained at Sheffield United.»
Arteta told press prior to the match that he was hopeful of having the forward available. «We had Martinelli and Bukayo [Saka] with little issues,» he said.

«We're pretty positive that hopefully they can be part of that. But we'll have to see how they feel.»
Martinelli went down against Sheffield United following an attempt at goal on the edge of the box. He continued on for several minutes before being helped off the field by two Arsenal physios.
The Gunners take on Porto in just four days time as they seek to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit to make progress to the Champions League quarter-finals. Martinelli's foot issue now makes him a massive outsider to feature.
