Have your say and cast your votes to establish the best player in women's football for the 2022-23 season
It's GOAL50 time! In 2022 it was Alexia Putellas' year as the Barcelona Femeni star won her second consecutive GOAL50 award, ahead of Spain team-mate Aitana Bonmati and USWNT forward Alex Morgan.
Sadly, an ACL injury rules Putellas out of contention for the 2023 award, as the likes of Sophia Smith, Lauren James, Bunny Shaw, Caroline Graham Hansen and many more battle to take her crown.
GOAL has shortlisted the 50 best female — and male — footballers based on how they performed during the 2022-23 season — and it's up to you to decide who comes out on top.
The two players with the most votes from the randomly selected head-to-heads from each category will be declared the GOAL50 winners for this year.
The polls are open from November 27 to December 11 and, this year, there is a prize draw open to all participants.
It's now over to you to get voting! Check out the 50-strong shortlist for the women's category below.
