Serie A club Hellas Verona have submitted a formal loan-to-buy offer for Norwich City striker Adam Idah, according to local reports.
The Corkman has been used by David Wagner as an impact sub and would welcome a change of scene as he attempts to make a case for a starting spot in the Ireland team under the incoming manager.
The offer, which has been formally sent to Norwich, is an initial loan for the remainder of the season and contains an option for the Serie A side to buy the 22-year-old striker.
Genoa are also said to be interested ahead of the transfer window closing on Thursday.
“We are not super strong in numbers in general for the squad and on the striker position as well so I can't see this happening," Wagner said after City's Anfield defeat, "but you know as well as I do that everything I tell you today might not stay the same in the next four days.
"I don't expect anything, but the transfer window is sometimes very crazy."
