Former analyst Mark Leyland has opened up on the instructions given to the ball boys that helped Liverpool famously beat Barcelona 4-0 to reach the Champions League final in 2019.
Jurgen Klopp's side trailed the La Liga giants 3-0 from the first leg at Camp Nou before turning it around in the second at Anfield thanks to a brace each from Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum.
Liverpool's fourth goal on the night was the product of a quickly-taken corner from Trent Alexander-Arnold that was steered home expertly by Origi and the victory is now widely regarded as one of the greatest European nights in the club's history.

Leyland worked as an analyst at Anfield between 2013 and 2021 before he left to link-up with Eddie Howe at Newcastle United and he told the Training Ground Guru podcast of how Liverpool's memorable win was inspired by the key messages relayed to the ball boys around the pitch on the night, who helped get the ball to Alexander-Arnold quickly enough to swing in the decisive - and now iconic - corner.
"It was at Anfield and it was actually (analyst) Harrison Kingston who was the brains behind it again," Leyland said. "He identified that the ball boys weren't getting the ball back on the pitch quick enough when we weren't winning and we were an intense team, we wanted things to be quick.
"So he produced a video and we did it with the ball boys and we did it the day before a game, every game. It was one of the first times we did it actually, the Barcelona game - because we knew we needed goals quickly.
