Jose Mourinho is always linked with top jobs and we could soon see him return to one of Europe's Big Five leagues.
The Special One has been on the lookout for a new project following his surprise dismissal by Roma last month.
And the legendary boss has reportedly set his sights on one of the game's biggest gigs, where he would look to add to his two Champions League winners' medals.
According to German newspaper Bild, the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager is learning German in a bid to take the reigns at Bayern Munich.
Fellow Champions League winner Thomas Tuchel is currently in charge at the Bundesliga champions, but has faced mounting pressure with his side trailing league leaders Bayer Leverkusen by five points.
After losing 3-0 in their top-of-the-table clash with Leverkusen, Bild reports that Mourinho 'would be ready' to step in at the Bavarian club and could be reunited with Harry Kane, who he managed at Tottenham.
This is not the first time the Portuguese maverick has been said to be interested in taking on Germany's top-flight, where he is yet to manage.
In 2019, he was quoted in Gazzetta dello Sport as saying: «Right now, I am studying German. Bundesliga? Now, I'm studying German because I miss the language.»
«But I do not exclude anything, not even Germany.»
With Mourinho then refusing to rule out a move to the six-time European Champions, all recent updates on the iconic figure appear to suggest he would be strongly interested in the Bayern position.
