Arsenal co-chair Josh Kroenke was seen at the Emirates Stadium watching on during the North London Derby against Tottenham on Sunday. Kroenke, who splits his time between England and America, attended the match and was seen in his box ahead of kick-off.
It is thought to be the first time he has been at a game this season having also spent plenty of time with the squad during the pre-season tour of America. Josh, son of Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) owner, Stan, has continued his role as the public facing figure.
Alongside Tim Lewis, who was given enhanced responsibility at the club earlier this year, Josh Kroenke has helped to lead the new revolution under Mikel Arteta after the Spanish manager was appointed in December 2019. They are now attempting to push the club to new heights having failed to win the Premier League since KSE took a stake.
Josh Kroenke was appointed as non-executive director in 2013 and has grown in reputation and importance ever since. He also has key roles to play in his father's sporting empire in America and has been a driving force in the success of the Denver Nuggets, LA Rams and Colorado Avalanche in recent years too.
Now, alongside Lewis and sporting director Edu Gaspar, they are attempting to take Arsenal one step further and towards a first league title in 20 years. He is believed to have once more played a big part in the recent surge of players signing onto new contracts,with club captain Martin Odegaard the latest in a growing list alongside Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale.
