Liverpool fans are reeling after the shock announcement Jurgen Klopp will step down as manager at the end of the season.
The Reds manager has been at the helm since 2015 and has enjoyed a trophy laden spell in his incredible time at the club. Klopp was in charge as Liverpool won their sixth Champions League and ended the 30-year wait to secure the club's 19th league title.
The 56-year-old has stepped down from his post after he admitted he has "ran out of energy" and he stated in a press conference he wants to have time to have a "normal life" away from football. Away from the pitch, the German has been happily married to Ulla Sandrock since 2005.

The family live in Formby and Ulla's charitable efforts will not be forgotten any time soon as they have made a lasting impact on their area. During the Covid pandemic, Klopp's wife handed out £1,000 worth of food vouchers to supermarket staff as a "thank you" for working on the frontline.
The touching random act of kindness happened when Ulla went into Waitrose in Formby and suddenly distributed the gifts. The ECHO understands 20 separate £50 vouchers for the store were individually passed by the Liverpool manager's wife to those on the shop floor at the time.
Before the shock announcement today, Klopp's contract was set to run until 2026 and he revealed a conversation with his wife was what sparked the extension he signed in 2022. It was not the first time Ulla played a role in Klopp's career decision.
