Harvey Elliott's performance for the England Under-21s saw him receive praise from a Liverpool coach and several of his teammates.
Elliott starred for the Young Lions in a 5-1 win over Azerbaijan on Friday, scoring two goals at the Azersun Arena in the international break. Noni Madueke of Chelsea, Jaden Philogene of Hull City and Archie Gray of Leeds United were also on the score sheet in Baku.
After the game, Elliott posted a photo on his Instagram story which showed one of his goal celebrations. The post also featured the caption: "X2".
Now several of his teammates, including some from Liverpool, have commented on Elliott's post to send a message to the Reds star. One came from Liverpool goalkeeper coach John Achterberg, who simply wrote: "Top," followed by two fire emojis and a clapping emoji.

Reds defender Jarell Quansah also had a message for Elliott in the post. Quansah was an unused substitute in the game, and his comment simply had a heart and fire emojis.
Reds midfielder Tyler Morton also had a one-word message for Elliott, writing, "Partner," followed by a heart emoji. Morton, who is currently on loan at Hull City for the season, played alongside Elliott in midfield during the win over Azerbaijan.
England have one remaining fixture during the international break, which sees the Young Lions face Northern Ireland on Tuesday night. Elliott will hope to be involved in the fixture as England look to move a step closer to qualification for next year's European Championships.
