Paul Gorst - Luis Diaz is moved out to the right side
A refreshed and reenergised Liverpool should be raring to go on the south coast this afternoon. Well, those of them who are fit at least.
Jurgen Klopp is still without several key performers for this one but there strength in depth is such that a strong side should still be able to compete at the Vitality.
Alisson Becker starts in goal with Conor Bradley making his Premier League debut on the right side. In the centre, Virgil van Dijk partners Ibrahima Konate with Joe Gomez once more deputising for both Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas.
Alexis Mac Allister patrols the base of the midfield with Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott given the chance to roam further forward as the two No.8s.
Luis Diaz is moved out to the right side for this one with Darwin Nunez on the opposite flank. The Uruguayan striker causes problems with his pace and physicality and Diogo Jota leads the line.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Gomez; Mac Allister, Elliott, Jones; Diaz, Jota, Nunez.
Ian Doyle - Up top, the right wing slot can instead be Cody Gakpo
Liverpool had to battle through the wind and the rain on their last visit to Bournemouth in November.
And they’re probably going to have to do the same this afternoon in the Premier League with storm warnings incoming.
Who, then, is Jurgen Klopp going to call upon?
Alisson Becker is in goal. And I’d stick with Conor Bradley at right-back. It’ll be a day for digging in so Virgil van Dijk can be partnered by Ibrahima Konate at centre-back with Joe Gomez on the left of the defence.
In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister is the number six with Curtis Jones to his left. The other slot can go to Harvey Elliott for a bit of solidity.
