Arsenal will be sweating over the fitness of Oleksandr Zinchenko for Saturday afternoon's trip to Burnley.
Zinchenko missed the Gunners' 6-0 win at West Ham United last Sunday due to a calf problem. He was forced off at half-time in the Premier League title clash with Liverpool two weeks ago, before being replaced by Jakub Kiwior.
The Ukraine international was also forced to miss the defeats Fulham and Liverpool due to the same problem. In his place, Kiwior started and impressed at the London Stadium. Here, football.london takes a look at whether Zinchenko will be available for selection for the trip to Turf Moor.
After coming off against Liverpool, Arteta provided a brief update on the severity of Zinchenko's problem. «We don't know. He had some feeling in his calf again and we had to take him off.»
Prior to the trip to West Ham, he added: «Alex is not fit.» This week, whilst there was no precise update on the ex-Manchester City star, Arteta was on hand with a brief summary on his absent players.
«The update is that some of them have been progressing better than others,» he said. «We have a training session today. Some of them have done a few bits this week. I'm positive that hopefully we're gonna get a few back for tomorrow.»
