Liverpool’s fixture list has become clearer after the Reds found out who they will face in the Europa League round-of-16 on Friday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been drawn against Sparta Prague, and will travel to Czech Republic for the first leg on Thursday 7 March before hosting the second leg at Anfield on Thursday 14 March. The two ties will sandwich Liverpool’s top-of-the-table Premier League clash with Man City on Sunday 10 March.
The Reds are back in action on Sunday as they travel to Wembley for the League Cup final against Chelsea. They are then back in FA Cup action at home to Southampton in the fifth round on Wednesday 28 February as they continue to challenge on all four fronts.

Should they overcome the Saints, they will progress to the quarter-finals which will take place on Saturday 16 March and Sunday 17 March. If not, they will travel to Everton in the Premier League on the Sunday instead.
As a result, Liverpool are set for an intense run of fixtures heading into the March international break, starting with the League Cup final, as they compete in seven matches in the space of 21 days.
And Klopp will have to navigate such fixtures without a number of senior stars, after he was left without 11 first team players for Wednesday’s 4-1 victory over Luton Town.
