James Maddison is back in training with Tottenham after two-and-a-half months out injured.
The midfielder picked up an ankle issue during Spurs' 4-1 loss to Chelsea on November 6, and was substituted at half time with manager Ange Postecoglou revealing the news after the match.
There were concerns Maddison was facing a lengthy injury lay-off, but he seems set to return to action around three months after sustaining the issue.
Maddison, who joined Tottenham from Leicester for £45million from relegated Leicester in the summer, has picked up three goals and six assists in 11 Premier League appearances so far.
Spurs will be hoping he can pick up from where he left off upon his return to action, which could come as soon as his side's Premier League game against Brentford on Wednesday.
Maddison, 27, has been central to Spurs' progression under Postecoglou, and was a vital player in the Australian's system before his injury late last year.
As a result, he has missed 10 Premier League matches but will be hoping that those days are behind him for the foreseeable future.
Tottenham shared an image of the midfielder smiling on social media on Wednesday afternoon, captioned: 'Looks who's back,' accompanied by an eyes emoji.
Spurs have been in decent form despite his absence, with the club fifth in the Premier League table and three points off Aston Villa in fourth and the final Champions League place.
Despite dropping points to the likes of Brighton and Manchester United, Postecoglou and Co have beaten sides including Liverpool and Newcastle as they continue their re-build under their new manager.
