Marco Silva explains why Rodrigo Muniz is giving him a selection headache at Fulham

Fulham's boss Marco Silva is pleased that Rodrigo Muniz's excellent form is giving him a tough choice to make for the upcoming match against Aston Villa at Craven Cottage.

The 22-year-old Brazilian scored twice in Fulham's 3-1 win over Bournemouth, just a week after scoring his first Premier League goal in a 2-2 draw with Burnley.

With almost all players fit, including Chelsea loanee Armando Broja who is keen to start his first game for Fulham, Silva has a tricky decision to make for Saturday's clash with Villa, who are hoping to qualify for the Champions League.

Speaking to Fulham club media, Silva said: «We are going to be a really demanding team for them, I really believe that, and of course some of our players they are in a really good individual moment too.»

«We took some decisions, we sold our main goal-scorer [Aleksandar Mitrovic in August], it was a chance for [Muniz] to be with our squad, and when you have a chance to play you have to step in, you have to pop up, you have to show your quality and that you are capable to do it.»

«Of course it's really competitive, that position right now, with Armando here that is a player we really believe that came to help us and reach a different level.

»Rodrigo had the chance to play after the injury to Raul (Jimenez). He scored one goal, good display in 60 minutes, last week even better with two goals and the way he played 70 minutes was really good for him and he's in a good moment.
