McDonald's has announced it will be switching up its menu in time for Easter this year and fans have been excited by the sound of one particular new item. Available from March 13, McDonald's lovers will be able to enjoy a hot cross bun pie.
The brand new dessert has never been seen on the menu before and the news has been welcomed by many. On popular Instagram account, Snack News & Reviews, thousands also shared their reaction to the upcoming menu change. Many users said the pie looks "so good", others said they "can't wait."
However, some people weren't so sure. Shanea asked: "Hot cross bun pie??" One user replied: "Sounds gross to me." Samantha added: "Not sure if it will beat the raspberry & white chocolate pie."

On Facebook, Lucy said: "I love that they’re doing the different pies, raspberry and white chocolate my fav so far." Richard added: "Nooooo! Raspberry and white choc pie must stay!!" Emma stated: "Nooooo this will mean the death of the raspberry pie."
