People have urged one ‘perfect’ café to be added to Liverpool ONE.
The ECHO reported last week that Byron Burger was preparing to move from its current site on Paradise Street to a new venue on Thomas Steers Way. This is located in the unit previously occupied by Bill’s restaurant, close to the Hilton Hotel.
Byron has a range of burgers on its menu, as well as loaded fries, milkshakes and desserts. Meanwhile Bill’s, which closed suddenly in early October, offered home favourites like fried breakfasts and burgers and fries in an extensive menu.

This has left Bryon’s previous location empty. Located next to Brown's Brasserie and Bar. The area also has retail shops such as John Lewis and Urban Outfitters close by, as well as a branch of Pret A Manger.
The ECHO contacted Liverpool ONE about its plans for the old Byron site on Friday, with a spokesperson confirming that plans for the unit would be announced soon but no more details could be currently revealed. Many ECHO readers had suggestions for what that should be.
One reader, commenting on the ECHO site, said: “Planet Hollywood, every major world city has one.” Planet Hollywood is a Hollywood-themed restaurant with sites in Orlando, Los Angeles Airport, Malta and Qatar.
Another called for a branch of Peacocks. The fashion store has shops across Merseyside Bootle, Belle Vale, Crosby and St Helens, but none in the city centre.
