Pep Guardiola's side head to Anfield just a point shy of the league leaders but know that they will have to be at their best at a ground where they have a wretched record, against a club doing everything they can to give Jurgen Klopp the perfect send-off. There is also Arsenal to consider, with Mikel Arteta's side able to take top spot on Saturday if they can beat Brentford.

Jurgen Klopp will surely usher Mo Salah back into his starting lineup for this match after bringing the Egyptian back slowly from his recent injury. In the same way that City have protected Kevin De Bruyne, Salah has to be primed for the biggest games.
