Manchester United supporters are set to protest the club's planned seat changes at Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool by wearing items of yellow clothing.
Matchday going fans at Old Trafford have been left furious after United announced some season ticket holders would have to shift from their seats next season to make way for academy players.
The club argued that the change is needed because a side view is ‘optimal for their development and future performance’ when referencing why academy players would be given new allocated season inside the stadium.
The decision has sparked fury from spectators who are set to be affected by the change in seating inside the club’s oldest stand which is viewed as the best seats in the ground.
Supporter groups have now announced they will be making a 'united fan movement' against the proposed plans.
The SouthStandUtd have posted an update on their planned actions at the 77'000-seater stadium where United host Liverpool on Sunday, encouraging fans to wear a yellow piece of clothing to the game.
Other groups - most notably the Man United Supporters Group - have backed the decision with part of the published statement reading: 'Manchester United is set for a splash of yellow this Sunday as a united fan movement takes a stand against the club's controversial seat reshuffle policy.
