David Moyes is reportedly set to rekindle his attempts to sign Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
West Ham had come close to signing the 31-year-old defender last summer, having agreed a £30million deal with the London club to sign the England defender.
That move never materialised, with the centre back, who was stripped of the captain's armband last season, angling for a £7m pay-off from the Hammers to leave the club.
Reports from The Sun now claim that Moyes is set to up his attempts to sign the defender this summer, with the outlet writing West Ham could 'make a cut-price offer between £15-£20m'.
Maguire will be out of contract at Old Trafford in June 2025 and The Sun claim Moyes is 'keen to bring in a defender who can win headers' and could 'offer him a two or three year deal'.
That would be a lucrative deal for the defender, who has been ruled out of their last three matches with an injury.
Erik ten Hag hinted that Maguire, who arrived at the club for a record £85m in 2019, could return for Sunday's crunch FA Cup clash against rivals Liverpool.
'We had a good week,' the Dutch manager said. 'The players you mention [Rasmus Hojlund, Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka] returned on the pitch, partly at the start of the week and they had a session [on Friday] and are all training.
'We have to see how they recover from this, but it looks good. I think [they will be fit to play].'
Maguire, who has endured a tough few seasons at United amid a lack of game time, has featured in 23 matches for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring in their 2-1 defeat by Fulham in February.
