Everton are waiting to discover if they have breached the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules for a second time.
The Blues are set to learn their fate today and reports suggest Sean Dyche's side may have again broken the rules, potentially leading to another points deduction or a fine. It was November when Everton were first charged for financial wrongdoing, having been referred to an independent commission in relation to their spending.
Losses of £371.8million were recorded over a three-year period, which saw Everton exceed the maximum threshold by £19.5m and later charged. “This was a serious breach that requires a significant penalty," concluded the commission.

Everton were handed a 10-point deduction, prompting an outpouring of emotion from the fanbase at a time when Manchester City still had 115 separate FFP charges hanging over their name. Gary Neville, speaking on the Overlap, took aim at the Premier League and insisted there was no longer reason to have faith in the authorities . "The trust and faith has gone completely," he said.
