The manager is always the most decisive individual at a football club so thank goodness Everton have got Sean Dyche right now.
Having dealt with the 10-point deduction (subject to appeal) dished out on November 17 – responding with four consecutive wins and clean sheets in December having plummeted to the bottom of the Premier League – Dyche has now seen his employers hit with a second Financial Fair Play charge this week, less than two months later. With the greatest respect to Everton Football Club, I genuinely think they’re lucky to have him.”

This wasn’t just sticking up for a mate but rather a profound statement that has been proven to be true. The Scot added: “He’s more than a head coach, he knows how to carry himself as an ambassador and a front to the club. He’s a leader and someone who will want to stand up, wear the Everton badge with pride and someone who the fans can really get behind.”
