Alan Shearer has described the decision to disallow Luis Diaz’s goal during Liverpool’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur as "'incomprehensible."
Diaz's goal for the Reds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was incorrectly disallowed for offside after the VAR mistakenly believed that the on-field decision had been to award the goal. The PGMOL admitted after the game that "a significant human error occurred."

And speaking on Match of the Day on Saturday night, former Premier League winner Shearer blasted the decision not to award the goal, describing it as a "monumental error."
