Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has given an honest assessment of his side’s chances against Liverpool ahead of their Carabao Cup clash tonight.

The Cherries have progressed to the last 16 of the Carabao Cup through wins over Championship opposition in Swansea City and Stoke City. However, Iraola, who previously led Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano to Copa del Rey semi-finals, is aware Bournemouth face a much more difficult task, this time around.
"If we could choose, I guarantee we wouldn’t have chosen Liverpool," Iraola admitted. "Even the weakest teams left wouldn’t have been easy because we are already in the advanced rounds but we still haven’t been lucky.
"We are talking about a team that almost hasn’t lost this season. The only good thing about the draw is that we play at home and that is an advantage we’ll have to use.."
