Caoimhin Kelleher has made a confession about training with Liverpool’s talented array of forwards.
The goalkeeper made his first appearance of the season in the win over LASK as the Reds named a much-changed side in Linz. Kelleher, 24, has always performed well when called upon, and couldn't do anything to prevent Florian Flecker’s stunning strike for the game’s opening goal.
Kelleher will be hoping the Reds can progress far in the Europa League to allow him more opportunities to demonstrate his quality in the first team. Early exits in both domestic cups limited the Republic of Ireland international to four appearances last season.

Success in the Europa league could lead Kelleher to be tested against some fearsome attackers. However, the 24-year-old is simply relieved that he does not have to line up against Liverpool’s litany of forward options.
"I think in the last few games we've scored a lot of goals," Kelleher told Liverpool’s club website after the win over LASK. "That forward line is scary at times and there's a lot of depth to it as well.
"Whoever is starting, there's players to come off the bench that can cause problems. I'm happy that I only face them in training!"
Goals from Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz helped to turn the game in the Reds’ favour, while Mohamed Salah came on to add a third. Such is Liverpool’s strength in depth, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo remained on the bench.
Facing such elite forwards on a daily basis is clearly beneficial to Kelleher’s development, who will have his eyes set on guiding the club to Europa League glory. The goalkeeper revealed what Jurgen Klopp’s message
