Jamie Carragher re-lived his infamous on-pitch bust-up with then Liverpool team-mate Alvaro Arbeloa in a 2009 Premier League match, in which he ended up grabbing the Spain international 'by the throat'.
Carragher spent his entire 17-year senior career at Liverpool, and is second in the club's list of record appearance makers with 737 at the heart of the Reds' defence between 1996 and 2013.
Since hanging up his boots the Liverpool icon has transitioned into a successful media career, regularly appearing on Sky Sports and is a co-host of the Stick to Football podcast.
In the latest episode, the Champions League winner in 2005 re-told the famous tale of his coming together with Arbeloa on the field during a Premier League game 15 years ago.
'We [Liverpool] were playing West Brom away [and] he [Álvaro Arbeloa] was a solid full back – he just kept going, I wasn’t getting the protection,' Carragher said, speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet.
'The game was already won to be fair, I’m thinking, "We’ve got to get our clean sheet" and he’s almost playing like a right winger, and they’re attacking.
'I’ve just been like a lunatic, and I grabbed him [by the throat] and [Xabi] Alonso’s come over, and everyone.
'We got in the dressing room afterwards and he was having none of it. He was decent – he ended up winning the World Cup!'
Arbeloa played 98 games for the Reds between January 2007 and summer 2009, scoring just the two goals from right back.
He would go on to return to boyhood club Real Madrid, winning two Champions Leagues in 2013-14 and 2015-16 as well as a LaLiga title in the post-Pep-Guardiola-Barcelona era.
But it was with his country Spain that Arbeloa had perhaps the most joy as part of the La Roja
