Chelsea legend Ed de Goey, who won three trophies with the Blues, looks completely different with his new haircut, almost 20 years after retiring. De Goey started his career at Sparta Rotterdam, then moved to Feyenoord and later joined Chelsea for £2.25million in 1997, playing a key role in their League Cup and Cup Winners' Cup victories.
Despite being the first-choice goalkeeper for three years and keeping the most clean sheets in the Premier League during the 1999/00 season, De Goey's time at Stamford Bridge dwindled after Carlo Cudicini was signed. He only played 25 times in his last three years before moving to Stoke in 2003 as a free transfer.
At Stoke, he quickly became a regular, making 38 appearances in his first season. However, Steve Simonsen replaced him in the 2005/06 campaign and he was released at the end of the year. Post-retirement, De Goey turned to coaching, working with QPR and Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk. He's currently with Dutch fifth-tier side VOC Rotterdam. Can you recognise Ed de Goey now?
