Time is running out for Arsenal to make any signings, with the summer transfer window set to shut in less than 48 hours.
The Gunners have already recruited Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice on permanent deals whilst David Raya has also joined on loan with an option to buy. But versatile defender Timber has since sustained an ACL injury, meaning he will likely miss the majority of the 2023/24 campaign.
That leaves Mikel Arteta's side short of options at the back, with some reports claiming a move for Barcelona defender Eric Garcia could be sanctioned as a result. So, football.london has rounded up everything that's been reported on the 22-year-old's future at the Nou Camp below.
Girona interest
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, La Liga outfit Girona are also keen on Garcia, although Barcelona boss Xavi wants to keep the 22-year-old this summer.
Writing on Twitter, Romano said: «Girona are insisting to sign Eric García from Barcelona to replace Santi Bueno. Xavi wants to keep Eric at Barça — but Girona will insist again today.
»Santi Bueno will travel to UK soon in order to complete his move in excess of €10m to Wolves."

Xavi decision
Jurrien Timber's ACL injury leaves Arsenal relatively short of options in defence and Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have now claimed that the Gunners see signing Garcia as a suitable solution to their depth worries.
However, it is claimed that Barcelona manager Xavi has no intention of allowing the Spain international to leave so close to the transfer deadline.
