Ahead of what is likely to be Chelsea's biggest challenge of the Premier League season, Mauricio Pochettino held his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon. The Blues make the daunting trip to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to take on reigning champions Manchester City.
Led by Pep Guardiola, City are currently on an 11-match winning streak in all competitions. For Chelsea, it is their job to try and halt that momentum that City seem to always get in the second half of the Premier League.
Pochettino's team have won back-to-back games away at Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and Premier League, respectively, as the Chelsea head coach looks for consistency from his young squad. It will be extremely difficult to make it three wins on the bounce on Saturday.
That has not affected Pochettino's confidence, trust and belief in his players, though, with the Argentine looking forward to the test of the champions. With that being said, Bobby Vincent has put together a transcript of every word Pochettino had to say at Cobham on Friday.
