Diogo Jota has outlined the challenge facing Jurgen Klopp as he attempts to build a new Liverpool team - and has explained how the Reds are continuing to change during his time at the club.
Klopp has overseen a sizeable squad reshuffle during the last 15 months, with previous mainstays such as Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Fabinho all departing. More than £150million was spent this summer on midfielders alone with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai joined later in the transfer window by Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.
The exits of Henderson and Milner have also prompted a new-look leadership group with Virgil van Dijk becoming skipper and Trent Alexander-Arnold the new vice-captain.

And Jota admits the players who remained with Liverpool are having to adapt to a fresh look and a new approach that has seen them move within three points of the early Premier League leaders after a tough run of opening fixtures.
"This year we made a lot of changes, especially in the midfield," said the Portugal international. "That is a very important and key area in the way we play. We also got a lot of players for the forward line in the last couple of years and I think people and clubs need to develop.
"Normally, what changes a lot is the manager, but in Liverpool it is not the case and we know Jurgen is the right man and has the capacity to take us forward. Now is the moment where we have started with a completely different team than eight years ago (when Klopp was appointed). That's a challenge for him
