"Yesterday I thought, no, he’s pulling out of it," Souness said speaking on talkSPORT about the penalty incident at Anfield. "I have watched it several times this morning and I would be leaning more towards a penalty.
"If I had the opportunity to look at that in VAR, yesterday I would have said penalty."
The title race remains wide open and set to go down to the wire with Man City still set to host the Gunners. Jurgen Klopp is looking to end his successful tenure at Anfield on a high, when he steps down at the end of the season.
