In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister starts at the base despite only returning to Merseyside in the early hours of Thursday morning after his involvement for Argentina in Bolivia. Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones keep their places from the 3-0 win over Aston Villa before the international break.
