Jake Paul sends first Liverpool message in months after LASK victory
Liverpool’s comeback win over LASK has caught the attention of Jake Paul.
The Reds made wholesale changes for the game and were left stunned by a remarkable strike from Florian Flecker, which saw Jurgen Klopp’s side head into the break 1-0 down, despite dominating possession. Liverpool were quick to make amends after the interval, though, as Darwin Nunez scored from the penalty spot.
A smart finish from Luis Diaz saw the Reds take the lead midway through the second half before Mohamed Salah rounded off the scoring late on. It meant that the club began their Europa League campaign with three points the team’s fighting spirit appeared to impress Jake Paul.

The YouTuber turned professional boxer has often spoken of his support for Liverpool since the 2021/22 campaign as the club chased the quadruple. After seeing the Reds rally in the second half, Paul was quick to praise the side’s performance in Austria.
Shortly after the final whistle against LASK, he wrote on social media: “Liverpool is life. Life is Liverpool.”
It is not the first time that the 26-year-old has displayed his affection for the club. Reacting to Mohamed Salah’s message to supporters in May after Liverpool missed out on a Champions League place, Paul quoted the post and replied: "It’s okay we still love you. Alexa play You’ll Never Walk Alone."
The American will likely hope that Liverpool can extend their five-game winning run when they return to Premier League action at the weekend. The Reds will host West Ham on Sunday (2pm kick-off) at the start of a potentially tricky run of fixtures for Jurgen
