Ben Doak will make his first start for Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp having named a completely different starting XI for their Europa League opener this evening.
Doak will become the fourth youngest player to appear for the Reds in Europe at the age of 17 years 314 days when he lines up on the right wing against LASK in Linz here in Austria.
The teenager, who has previously made six substitute appearances since signing from Celtic in the summer of 2022, is joined in attack by Luis Diaz on the left flank and Darwin Nunez down the middle.
Deadline-day signing Ryan Gravenberch also makes his first start for Liverpool in a midfield that includes fellow summer arrival Wataru Endo. Harvey Elliott completes the engine room with a first start of the season.

Klopp has opted to go with Caoimhin Kelleher in goal which could be a nod that Irishman will be first choice between the sticks in the Europa League this season.
There is a surprise at right-back where Stefan Bajcetic, who has featured in central midfield for the first team and at centre-back for the Academy, makes his first outing since March.
Virgil van Dijk captains the side and is joined by Ibrahima Konate at centre-back, while Kostas Tsimikas is at left-back.
Mohamed Salah, Dominic Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Diogo Jota are among a strong bench for the Reds.
