Head coach Cavin Johnson has provided an update on the return to action of some of the club’s key players who had suffered injuries before the mid-season AFCON break.
Chiefs are putting in the final preparations for a return to DStv Premiership action against TS Galaxy on 13 February.
Ahead of the encounter, the Soweto giants have had an intense training camp and played several friendlies behind closed doors, in preparation for the resumption of the league.

Speaking to the club’s media, Johnson has provided updates on the return of Edmilson Dove who has represented Mozambique at the AFCON, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe who suffered a shoulder injury at the end of November 2023 and George Matlou, who has not featured since the start of November due to an injury.
Speaking via the club's official website, Johnson revealed that the trio has returned to training.
"We have our full compliment of players, with Edmilson Dove having started training on Monday after his return from Ivory Coast," Johnson said.
"We have also had a few guys from our development structures with us so we could look at them and help them improve. We believe we are ready for the remaining 14 league games and Nedbank Cup matches.
"We look forward to a good match (against TS Galaxy) and have to see how the guys who were out before the break are doing; that is Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and George Matlou.
"However, our motto is that whoever is selected must give it their all and ensure we secure the much-needed three points in our league matches."
Chiefs sit in sixth place on the DStv Premiership table with seven wins after 16 matches. The match will be played at New Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.
