Liverpool lost their minor Premier League title advantage over Arsenal and Manchester City this past weekend. Following on from the Gunners' victory over Brentford, they moved above Liverpool and Man City with those two teams then fighting it out at Anfield to knock Arsenal off the summit.
A thrilling 90 minutes of football ensued with nothing to split the two teams in the final 30 minutes after Alexis Mac Allister cancelled out John Stones' opener. Following the result, Jurgen Klopp was overjoyed by what he had seen before going on to make a huge Man City admission.
"The highest quality," Klopp admitted to Sky Sports. "It was a really good football game, that was the best performance in the second half of a game that we’ve played against Man City. We’ve never dominated them like that as much, never had them there, never made so many good decisions, never so brave.

"The performance was absolutely exceptional and what a game, what an atmosphere, what an afternoon." With only a point secured, Liverpool were unable to return to the top of the league table, however there are likely to be many more title race twists and turns over the next eight weeks.
With just one point separating the three teams, every single point will matter during the run-in as Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal all face some challenging fixtures.
