I have always been fascinated by Japan's karaoke culture, with its strobing lights and futuristic artwork.
Unfortunately, not everyone can travel to Japan to experience it. That's why I was keen to try the new Big Fang Karaoke at the Baltic Market, which promises to bring the best of Tokyo's karaoke experience to Liverpool.
As a lucky attendee of the pre-opening event, and it being my first night out doing karaoke, I can say that the venue is truly a karaoke lover's paradise which also caters for first-timers like me. The cyberpunk aesthetics, neon lights, and futuristic artwork create an electric atmosphere that makes you want to grab the microphone and sing your heart out.

I tried the new Joe and the Juice in Liverpool ONE and was baffled by the price
Despite my lack of singing talent, I couldn't resist the urge to belt out a few tunes. The venue's design and vibe make you feel like a rock star, even if you're not the most talented singer.
Before the karaoke session, we were invited to try some of the specially designed cocktails. I tried all three of their special cocktails named “High Frequency, Syncwave Sip and Power Surge Punch” and they certainly did not disappoint.
Each drink was specially crafted to enhance the karaoke experience, and at £8.50 each, I found them value. If cocktails aren't your thing, the venue also offers other refreshing drinks at affordable prices starting from £3 for the ultimate night out.
They also had a range of pizza options, including classic margarita, BBQ chicken, and a gluten-friendly option, so there was something for everyone. At £3.80 for one slice or £19 for a whole 18-inch pizza, it's also great value for money.
