"These types of strikers, they are top strikers," Kompany said. "In the end, you can always have a season where you find your feet a little bit.
"The pace is always there. Does he have ability? I don’t think anyone would doubt that. He has ability. Has he got the work-rate for the team?
"Is he living it? Is he passionate about what he does for the team? I don’t think anyone would doubt that. And then whether it happens in six months or whether it takes a year or two, that’s a different discussion.
"But you worry about players when the intensity and the desire and the work-rate aren’t there.
