Arsenal became the first side in the history of England's top four tiers to win three away games by a margin of five or more goals as they hammered a hapless Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. The Gunners were a goal up inside five minutes as Martin Odegaard turned home before a Jayden Bogle own goal and Gabriel Martinelli strike made it 3-0 before the 15 minute mark.
Kai Havertz then added a fourth 10 minutes later, before Declan Rice tapped home to make it 5-0 before the break. In truth, Arsenal could easily have been further ahead by the time the half time whistle blew.

In truth Arsenal could have been three goals up by the time that went in and they showed no signs of letting up. As Jayden Bogle deflected home and Gabriel Martinelli fired in, Declan Rice and Gabriel could be seen pumping their fists, inspiring their teammates to keep the intensity up. This was an Arsenal side determined to put the Blades to the sword.
