Yuri injured, doubtful for Alaves derby
Athletic Club player Yuri Berchiche has a "muscle injury in his right leg" that makes him a serious doubt for the match against Deportivo Alaves next Saturday at San Mames.
The medical report issued by the Bilbao club informs that this muscular problem that Yuri suffered in the final stretch of the match against UD Las Palmas keeps him "pending evolution".
The only certain absentee for the Basque derby against the team from Vitoria is Aitor Paredes, who will be suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
Neither Yuri nor Paredes trained on Monday in a recovery session for the starters against Las Palmas and a more intense session for the substitutes and also for Ander Herrera, who was the only player not called up at the weekend.
The Bilbao midfielder did not travel to the Canary Islands as he has just recovered from a muscle injury that has sidelined him for four games.
