Diogo Jota has expressed his delight at Liverpool's victory over Luton Town on Wednesday night
The Portuguese forward missed the game after suffering an injury against Brentford on Saturday afternoon. Jota hurt his knee after Christian Norgaard landed awkwardly on it after challenging for the ball.
Despite attempting to carry on, it was soon apparent the 27-year-old was in too much discomfort and was carried off on a stretcher. In the second half, the fears over Jota's injury continued as the tunnel cam was spotted hobbling alongside a member of the Liverpool backroom staff.

Van Dijk's perfect response to injury
In his pre-Luton press conference, Jurgen Klopp confirmed the injury was as bad as feared. "Not great, I would like to say no issues but we have some," the German said.
"Not available: Ali, muscle injury, we don't know how long it will take but definitely not the foreseeable time coming back. Then we have Diogo with a knee issue is ruled out. Curtis [Jones], with a bone/ligament issue, is ruled out."
He later added: "With Diogo, it will obviously rather take months (not weeks)." Jota has since been attempting to keep his spirits up and was clearly watching closely as his teammates came from a goal down to beat the Hatters 4-1 at Anfield.
Second-half goals from; Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott ensured an upset was avoided. The Liverpool skipper was one of those players to share his delight with the result on social media, posting on Instagram: "Resilience! Wembley soon!"
In the comments below, Jota replied: "Love it," and was then inundated by Reds supporters wishing him well.
